How to read the V-Ray Benchmarks

Hi all
I have a question about reading the benchmark data over here

V-Ray Benchmark | Chaos

See how the benchmarks have “X” - does this mean the amount of those processors? So like, “Processor type A x 30” means there are 30 of these processors?

I’m just taking a look at upgrading my old Z600 wokstation to have x2 Intel Xeon X5690 CPUs.

I don’t know if its worth upgrading - do you think its worth $400 for me to upgrade - would love to see a benchmark for x2 of these CPUs.

It should be the total amount of cores that you see there, not the amount of CPU’s.
In the benchmark results there are plenty of machines with the setup you are looking for: 2x Xeon 5690. All the results with x24 are dual CPU machines, because the Xeon 5690 comes with only 12 cores.
