Is there any way to completely remove all vray materials, lights and settings from a max scene?

well …cant you just delete all vray stuff ?
then switch renders.

there is a converter script you can use to convert all your vray mats into standards - just put it into your /scripts directory and run it - then select the vray mat and convert it w/ the script…
