…anyone tried a HP laptop with Vista and Max yet? …I was looking to order one, but I can only order Vista.
from everything that I have read so far…Vista + Max = TROUBLE…as the country song would say
ya, i have not seen anything positive about Vista anywhere. at least anywhere that Microsoft has not been promoting it. the problem, it is nearly impossible to find a laptop without it. maybe if i call the company direct, they will sell me Win XP instead.
i am pretty sure most companies like HP configure their computers to need their version of Windows. i might be wrong on that, but i think that is the case. …and in the case of HP, they don’t even give you the install discs, they partition part of your harddrive that is supposed to act ac a back-up.
