Ice Elemental

This an ice variation on my water elemental.

I used a lot of the sss2 material. It was used on both materials on the character, the cave and blue ice crystals.

Both look pretty neat but the materials look a bit too rubbery for the material they’re representing. For the Ice one, you’d expect more frosty external and internal glitter going on. Right now it looks like if you touched his skin it would feel like latex, where it should give you ice burn!

Here’s the final render
duke2 - I took a little of your advise, I went for a more snowy material for the main skin. I have some much transparent ice in the image I didn’t want him to blind in too much.
