IES Lights

hello,

I am using SketchUp Pro 2023, and using Enscape 3.3.1, I don’t find the option to load IES lights into my Sketchup Model. I have downloaded few IES light from https://ieslibrary.com/ but dont know how to load those in my model.

the light toolbar in Enscape in not giving me option to load ies lights?

can any one guide me

Hi - this IES-option is only available in combination with a spotlight

thanks for the reply. so IES option is only available for spot light what about other lights. can you guide me for that?

… hmmmm, IES-profiles don’t make sense with the other kind of light sources, that’s why they aren’t to connect to for example sphere lights or rectangular lights.

I would like to have the option to use IES profiles for linear lights (a la Lightscape,) but Enscape doesn’t have true linear lights. From my understanding, everything is a version of a point light in this software. (A spot light is just a point light with orientation.)
