I use these 2 programs to view, edit and create IES files but as said above creating your own is pretty hit and miss. Hope they help.

Found these a while back

These come in quite handy. Pick your light from the .jpg and then load the corresponding number file into the “web” slot in the ies light.

ceiling can

Does anybody have a ceiling can fixture with IES? I am having the darnedest time trying to get an interior image of mine to look nice. My ceiling lights are not casting the correct light.
