If the hardware crash - how to get VfR running again?

Hi,

following hypothetical situation: sundaynight, 6 hours until deadline, a backup of all project files exist at a second machine → the master engine hardware crashs, no contact to the ASGvis team is possible.
I ask me, what hardware can be replaced and VfR will run again. I suppose so, take the CPU from a slave engine to the master will make, that the master license will not run and can’t be activated again or? I ask me, what can be changed, so that the master run immediately again? Can I change the harddisk and restore a hdd image?
An other option could be, to work in Demo mode. If the activation failed, because hardware is changed, could I activate the demo mode? An internet conection is needed or?

… so my thoughts at the last hours of a project. :slight_smile:

In the event that your computer’s hardware has changed enough that your license is no longer valid, you will be able to use a demo license until we are able to make the appropriate adjustments your license.
