I know this is realy off topic. but I can´t help my self. I´m quite bad drummer but I want to lern and I love it. Those drummers are gods!
anyway I fond this software a fiew days ago and bought it on the spot. they have a demo so you can try it out.

Drum samples are cool, but nothing compares to sitting behind a drum kit and whaling out a beat.

I agree, but… I’m loving my Pintech kit (with Roland VDrum brain). Sure I love playing a real kit, but with wife and kids in the house, limited space, and the crazy hours I keep, you can’t beat it! Well… actually I do beat it. :slight_smile:

I´m looking to by me a digital drumkit, I´m so tired of playing with towels and blankets all over the place :cry: A mesh head is a must but I dont have 4000$ to spend though

Look into Pintech. Every bit as good as Roland (better, IMO). And no where near the prices you’re talking. Especially if you look for used.

What Pintech/Roland hardware combo are you running?

the Roland pricetag has always turnrd me off to digital kits.

My kit is built piece by piece, but it’s essentially very similar to the E-Jam kit (look here: http://www.pintechworld.com/drumsets/?curMenu=prod ) I also have a few extra dingbats. I’m using the TD-8 brain (http://www.zzounds.com/item\-\-ROLTD8) so essentially I have a Vdrum kit.

Pintech actually licenses the technology from Roland, so they are identical in function. However, Pintech shells are cast aluminum rather than plastic like Roland’s. Very tough, and a very realistic feel.

I got my kit on eBay with cords, throne, double kick and a bunch of other knick-nacks. Cool thing is, even if you buy used Pintechs, the lifetime warranty is fully transferable.

Cool, what kick pedal are you using?

Can you use a double DW pedal with that setup? the Kick drum looks a little small.

Sure. I’m using a Pearl double. More than enough room. The kick is the same size as the toms. Most electronics use a little 4" rubber thingy for a kick, so this is plenty big. Feels awesome too. Just loosen the head a smidge to feel like a kick. :slight_smile:
