Wanted to share an image I made for clients to see what their building’s main storefronts could look like with simple material/color changes. Material ID/Depth channels were used extensively to allow the desired effect and flexible customization.
Thanks,
Steve
Wonderful style. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Steven, Do you have a tutorial on how u created these elevation views.
I do not, unfortunately, but I can tell you the gist of what I did!
So this was done almost three years ago (crazy) and Enscape didn’t have orthographic view at the time so I had to use 10 degree FoV and take the image render from almost 300 feet from the building. Everything is modeled as well as the trees and I used photoshop to clip the image to my desire. I would export material ID so that you can clip out certain things out of the image such as the sky and bring in your own image of a sky if necessary. Annotations are also done with Photoshop.
Currently with Orthographic View mode, you should be able to simply use the “Num Pad” to select North, East, West, and South View to get proper flat images of your building which is awesome.
Best,
Steve
Orthographic is “proper”, and this probably took longer… but this style is quite nice
Thanks! For sure, the perspective definitely gives it more depth than an ortho view would.
