I want to kow, if it´s now possible to calculate the prepass for animation
(flythrough animation) in distributed mode?
For me, it doesnt work. But it´s very important for my work in the next weeks.
precalculation the IMAP only on one workstation needs to much time…
Currently the “incremental add to current map” mode is not supported for distributed rendering; however what you can do is split the animation in several larger chunks and compute one irradiance map for each of those segments on a different machine and then use the irradiance map viewer to combine the maps into a new one for the final rendering.
