Improved light controls

Hi all,

We’ve recently moved to Solaris and we’re still on V-Ray 5 but when we eventually move to 6 it would be nice to get a few upgrades to the light controllers in the Houdini Solaris viewport.

I appreciate that these requests may be out of your control but I figure there’s no harm in asking, please tell me if these should be SideFX requests :slight_smile:

Rectangle/disc lights - directional arrow visible (currently you can’t tell which way a light is facing)
Dome light - directional arrow
Directional light/sun - directional arrow and helpers to more easily show the rotation direction and angle (basically so it acts like a V-Ray Sun you might find in 3DS Max for example)

We have absolutely no control over this and no options for such customizations.
