Has anyone been able to figure out a button that will return someone to the initial camera position while in the VR?
We are running an Oculus Rift setup on an Alienware laptop with Oculus touch controls. None of the preset controls on the touch are for a home position like with the xBox remote; and because it is a laptop we do not have a number pad as part of the keyboard. We have tried a few ways to get the zero button to work on the regular key pad with no luck.
Other than this one issue we have been getting excellent feedback from coworkers and building owners we have shared the technology with.
Do you mean recentering or going back to the start position when opening Enscape? If recentering then I think it’s the Y button when in Seated VR or Walkmode?
@Norwood , thank you for your message! In fact, there is no such button at this point, apart from the 0-key on the NumPad, which isn’t a solution for you as you described. Using our latest preview, you can also use Page Up / Page Down to switch through favorite views, but that, too, is only available on keyboard at this point.
