Hi,
When I try to install VRay for Maya (2010 and 2011) under both Win XP and 7 it just crashes with a windows crash dialog saying “vray_adv_150SP1_maya2011_x64.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.”
As I said, this happens on both Win XP and 7 and with both 2010 and 2011 for x64.
Any tips?

We manage to solve this problem by installing from a local drive and NOT from a Samba share, as the case was before.
Information for Chaos Group: It used to work from the Samba share.

Not really. There have always been issues running the installation from a network share. We will look into it, of course, but it is not something that changed recently.
