Installing render nodes 3dsmax2008

Hello everyone, can anyone help me on a question?
Im installing the new 3dsmax2008 , we have 2 standalone licenses, when installing the renders nodes, how do i license them?
I started by authorizing everyone and at the end of 6 I received a message saying that i could no longer get a aut.code.
if that is not the way to aut. render nodes can please anyone tell me the way?

If you choose the “Render slave” installation mode, at the end of the installation you will be prompted to enter the IP address of the machine where the license server is running with the dongle; this must be configured correctly for the render slaves to work.

Another way to change this setting is from the Start menu > Programs > Chaos Group > V-Ray for 3ds Max > Licensing > Administration > Change V-Ray client license settings.

i was asking the question for the 3dsmax 2008 software only, but it also helped because we also need to install vray!

For the Render nodes you don’t have to authorize them. Just install Max and make sure you have all plugins installed as well (so the configuration is the same as the workstation) and you’re done.

Só tens que autorizar as 2 workstation’s onde tens as licenças para trabalhar… tudo o que é rendernode, nem sequer arranques com o Max… agora sempre que quiseres instalar essas licenças, noutra máquina, vais ter que pedir um código á Autodesk… mas também, eles andam todos baralhados com os codigos… a mim mandaram-me um código e a máquina focou com o SN 000-000000 !!!
