Can we bring back the Instanciate feature for 1.45 (1.5)? I know that the dynamic geometry makes it “obsolete” but it is still a qucik and dirty way of doing some optimizations.

Hmm…just curious. If it’s still usefull, why was it removed from the 1.45.70 build?
Technically, it is not needed because the reason it “exists” is to be able to add a huge amount of data. The drawback is, that they have to be instances. Now that the drawback is no longer there, why should it exists? I am assuming that that would be Vlado’s logic behind taking it out.
On the other hand, I still find it useful since, if you have the option of using it because you are using instances, it is easy to setup, and maybe a quicker render. It is still limited by the fact that it requires instances.
Therefore… if it is easy to add back… GREAT! Just another option.
