Hello,

My scene takes long time to start rendering using interactive GPU. It also takes long time to render and update render when I change things in the scene.

When I hit render I also noticed that the graphics card performance rating only goes up to 10% so it feels like the machine is not really using its potential. I am wondering what is the problem?

My graphics card is Quadro P4000 I am using low res (800 \* 450 ) and turned on Material override I am also using fur on the scene for grass btw. Especially for interactive rendering I need faster feedback.

I was wondering if anyone can advise how I can speed things up? Thank you very much.

Best,

Can you tell me what’s the NVidia drivers version installed?
Can you try to stop SketchUP, enable the GPU from “C:\Program Files\Chaos Group\V-Ray\V-Ray for SketchUp\extension\tools\vray\_gpu\_device\_select.ex e”, start SketchUp and try again?
Can you post the output of
`set | find "VRAY_GPU_PLATFORMS"`
in CMD?

You can try MSI Afterburner or GPU Z to check the GPU load and if it gets engaged while rendering.
