time machine idea sounds cool tho. :lol:
If you do find a time machine and use it to ‘search in future’ just make sure there is not a little fly hiding inside the machine before you set off. All sorts of trouble could happen.
If you had skills like Hiro, you wouldnt need a machine.
Ive been hammering this quite a bit. Sometimes a bit hit and miss, but when it’s a hit the results are incredible.

we actually wrote our own algorithm for doing this on very high res images. So we acquired normal maps of big leatherparts (1m x 1m) with 18 k pixels. Because it’s hard to get those images to tile 
Results however were fantastic.
