So I’ve got an interior scene with down-lights according to lumen specifications (3800). Outside is a Vray sun with an intensity multiplier of 1, and a dome light with a multiplier of 1 (using a VraySky map).
The colour float values of the pixels for the downlights are between 200-400 per channel. For outside the window the colour float values are between 2-6. This causes the lens effects to bloom for the interior lights but not for the windows.
This is counter intuitive to me. A photograph of any interior space would presumably produce a bloom around the windows more than the interior lights. Surely something lit by the sun would be brighter than an interior downlight. Am I incorrect in assuming this??
