try deleting the cristal… just leave the hole of the window…
i think that the grainy aspect is because of the refraction of the light…
you could also just delete the refraction layer… try that
arqestevez1, deleting the glass will not solve the problem because i will do another render from another side of the room and I want to see real glass with all reflections.
As Architekcik sugested, I have incresed photon sibdiv of sun (to1000) and subdiv of refraction of glass (to 20): http://ploader.net/files/05869612cf53f8870fefa7ff75da434e.jpg
Whithout effect as U can see, there is also something wrong with the neon light on the celling.
those setting are extremely high and some time that is not the solution. Try by increasing the LC sample size to .02. You have a bunch of setting that just increase your render time without affect to much the quality of your render.
ADMC 1/100 too high, use 1/8 or 1/16
Threshold too low, use .008
IM -3/0 could be high depending of your resolution. High resolution you can use -4/-1
HSph 150 to high, use no more than 90.
Sampler kind of high and you can lose detail. Use 30.
Color Threshold .25 high, you don have too much variation in color so you don’t need more than 0.3
LC Subdivis 1200 good, sampler size .01 high. use .02 or .015
Ja zazwyczaj stosuje F w okolicach 5 i wyzsze iso rzedu 400-600 i wtedy zmniejszam intensywnosci slonca, czesto takze zwiekszam ciutke rozmiar slonca aby cienie mialy gladsze krawedzie.
hi, im also encountering this problem. right now im rendering an interior scene with only GI as light source. my image also looks grainy. ive tried to increase the shadow sub but it didnt help. i tried to use the default settings, but its still the same. so i hope some expert can help us. tnx
Yeah, I’ve tried to change many settings: subdiv of reflecions on the floor, subdiv of the glass (even to 64), I’ve even incresed the subdiv of the sun to 10000. No changes.
