Interior View - Brightness and Contrast Quesiotns.

Hi people,

Interior View -

6 hrs render. piv 1.7 ghz, 256 mb ddr ram. geforce 2 mmx 64 mb

What i wanted to know -

All the images that i work come out dark on other peoples monitors. including this one. I am working on a Contrast 100 and Brightness 20 of the monitor.

when i keep both low then i have to work on using multiplier as 40 or something to get a bright feel. only then the images look good on other screens.

May i know what is the reason.

i have a LG - 17 Inch

my LG’s came with something called e-color which sort of helped me to ballance the brightness and color on my monitors. i personally think i need to play with gamma a bit too but not sure about setting that up
