Interiors

Hi People, and have a nice new year!!

This is one of the last jobs in 2004.

Vray 1.46.xx, Irradiance map + Lightmap. about 70 Ies lights used, some vraylights and standard spots. Lot of MAterials are glossy. Model created in Autocad + 3dsmax. Original size: 2800 px

I couldn’t use too much high parameters due the time, but i will post other images with higher settings.

Thanks for C&C, MarcoG

Nice…
I like the feel of the laquered wood, really shiny, but quite nice.
First image is mabee a little odd 'cause the sofas modeling and texturing dosen’t quite match the quality of the modeling of the wood pieces. In the 2 other pics, we do not see the sofas as much, so it is more belivable.

The chrome ceiling recess light fixture is quite well made..

Chairs are mabee a little washed out, but as you said, you didn’t use high parameters…

I like it.. (the image, of course  not the design :? )

Complimenti Marco

E’ un lavoro da copertina di CG

ciao

Hey Marco, is this the interior of a ship or something? It looks like and it is very well made.. congrats mate.

Regards

Marco Cohen

Beautiful work! I wouldn’t mind floating around in that for a few weeks

So realistic and beautiful! i can Imagine me walking thru this scene
You said you used a lot of lights, and waht about the render times???

Very nice! Rooms with that much wood are very difficult to do and you’ve done an excellent job! Good lighting and excellent materials.

Tony

Hey man!!! Great renders!!!
At the end I found in Italy someone who make good renders…
Just like me

Ciaooooo

Sai come la penso…

Ciao e complimenti

Thank very much too all for comments and compliments. It was a difficult subject , because of the model… lot of details but i’m quite satysfied of this result… of course thank to Vray also and it’s quality.

About time, for 3rd image, i remember about 6h
Irradiance map -3/-2 (80/20) .3,.25,.1
Lightmap 2200 0,02 (screen)
qmc 0,95 - 0.004 - 15
Qmc aa: 1/5
Color mapping linear

For both the other images about 10/12 h for prepass and render phase.

All Glossy materials 7 subdivisions
Qmc aa: 1/6
Qmc: 0,9 - 0.003 - 15
irmap: -4/-2 (.25 - .25 - .1)
lightmap: same parameters
Color mapping: Exponential 3.05/1.05

really nice renderings  , i think the view out the windows lets them down a little though.

 gumph!
really nice work there Marco, looks similar to Saluto’s stlye which I like.
Can you shed some light on the wood material please, any chance of seeing a wire of one of the images.
Well done, its great work,

Tom

Nice work Marco…

I swear Ive seen that bedroom some where before, is that from a previous scene??

-dave

Hi , thanks again.

@Tom
It’s different to saluto’s scene , because i didn’t use too much vraylight to have more light inside… anyway .. thanks a lot, because i consider Saluto one of the best interior 3d artists. I will share some wire of the scene.

@Syclone
Yes time ago, i showed in this forum the 3rd image. This is just a little update with some post.

Hi

Really nice works…
can you share to us your wood settings?

yep I would love to see those wood settings,

thanks,
Tom
