It used to be that when I redrew a region render it would just continue rendering progressively, but after the update it restarts the render. Is this a regression? Thanks!
+1
I’ve always liked the old behavior with GPU, and wanted it to be available for CPU.
It seems that it is brokwn now. I hope it is not intended.
Is there a nightly I can revert to? I’m working on a long term project that makes this difficult without it. Thanks!
Also the slider for background disappeared in frame buffer ![]()
I have the same issue and I think/hope it is being looked at. The mouse over render avoids a full refresh and might still be useful. Although I prefer region render as well as it works better with my brain.
Hi guys,
Drawing regions should not cause IPR to restart as demonstrated here: http://ftp.chaosgroup.com/support/scenes/2021-03-23\_23-25-54.mp4
The only thing that causes IPR to restart the whole process would be if the Region render is stopped. This is now logged under VMAX-10910 for developer investigation. We will keep you posted, thanks for the understanding and patience!
Hi, is there an update on this? Thanks a lot!
Hey @marksmanguy
This is fixed in our internal builds for GPU; we’ll let you know when it’s out officially - thanks for the understanding and patience.
I think that this issue, with the last update from 26/10, came back again. (It was fixed to my enjoyment)
Hope this can be fixed again.
Thanks!
Hi, this is happening again. Is there a nightly fix for this? Thanks
