IRR / LC and the "last frames"

what whould happen if I set the LC to “fly through” and render frame 0-100 and steps 100 ?
the LC is render for all 100 frames because step includes 0 and 100
so far so good
what if I set the steps to 70?
do I loos the last 30 frames or is the render range importent for the LC prepass?

beside that
if I render the IRRmap in stepsize 50 but my framesrange is not divide able by 50 - lets say 0-90
how you prerender that?
do you realy use step 30 to have the IRR for the last frame included?
an option to render step X + last frame whould be cool

when the LC is set to fly through you only have to render the first frame.

so I set the time-frame pannel in max to the range I want - set fly through but render only “current frame” ?

Doesnt matter - the LC only does one frame anyway at the start.

I think what hes asking though, is if the LC looks the the “range” and calculates all frames the in that range regardless of the increment.
