I was wondering if somewhere, anywhere, there is a Corona renderer for 3dsmax for non-commercial use but available for people who are not students anymore?
The trial version won’t work because I had already installed the renderer several years ago on my rig, so that road has been closed for me.
I’ve always been paying for legal software to support developers and for moral reasons. My first V-Ray license was in 2012, and I have always been paying gladly for updates.
These days it seems the only way that RELATIVELY won’t hurt anyone (for non-commercial use ONLY, of course) is to use a high seas version. I’m far from using illegal software; that’s why I’m asking here if there are any options.
I realize that’s a very difficult matter, a double-edged sword, but these days are unpredictable, and any unnecessary spending is just reckless, especially if there is no guarantee it will return. And almost 60 EUR per month just to use it and not be sure it will bring money is…not cool. If only there was an option like an educational license (with a similar price) for non-students…
Hello! Sorry, there is no version like this - the best I can suggest is picking up Corona when it has a special offer on it, to keep the costs lower. Best regards.
