Hello Enscape team,
due to our company’s it-supplier commitments, I can only choose from these specifications when ordering a new notebook.
I need to give our IT department the go-ahead quickly because my old computer is no longer working and I need to get a new one as soon as possible.
My quick question: is this graphics card “NVIDIA RTX PRO 4000, Blackwell 16 GB GDDR7” OK for running Enscape?
Hi @EGIESTO , the mobile RTX PRO 4000 is definitely more than just okay for Enscape (16G VRAM is great for larger/detailed scenes too), even though it wouldn’t match gaming GPUs on frames-per-euro and, as a laptop part, its lower power/thermals mean reduced performance compared to its desktop counterpart. From what I gathered, the RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell should offer a bit more performance than a mobile RTX 4080.
If you’re aware of that or in case your selection is limited anyway, as you said, then this is definitely a great laptop to be used with Enscape.
