It looks like you have put a map on the face of the watch rather than inside and then a glass material on the face with reflection!
i agree that the face should be modeled and not a texture. it give it alot more realism. i modeled everthing here in max4
1) I would guess that the crystal exists, but is a single face. In which case, the IOR is making it look like the crystal is solid.
If that’s the case, just give the crystal some thickness and your problem will disappear. You may also consider adding a very slight bevel to the crystal edge as well to catch the lights some.
2) I think The black rectangle near where the case meets the band should actually have circular ends instead of square ones.
3) your band looks a ever so slightly too reflective (like shiny plastic). I would decrease the glossyness value a bit to give it more of a correct look.
