very nice trees man! thanks for sharing

Re: Just testing new trees

You can save the image by right-clicking on the material in the SU material editor, and select save as, then use ps to make the alpha map.

anyway here’s the alpha map:

Re: Just testing new trees

May I ask how did you create those very nice trees ?

Re: Just testing new trees

Hi guis
http://www.4shared.com/file/77198315/f657574e/Smart\_Tree\_Material.html

This is the material of the leaves configured.
The ones that use the 1.0 version, creat a linked material then import the material clicking on material created, the ones that use the others version only import the material of the leaves.
Sory for my english.

Re: Just testing new trees

Thanks andelucia for the sketchup models. Im new to vray and thanks for the help.

Mucho appreciated, ;D

Re: Just testing new trees

who say you need xfrog. good job bro.

Re: Just testing new trees

awesome work, it looks very realisitc grass is not an easy texture to use and you did a great job there. contratulations.

Re: Just testing new trees

Thank you so mutch guis!!! ;D
i call it smart becouse it looks like heavy but with 2d leaves with opacity, and using components, they get very light. Xfog is very good, but it’s heavy becouse it dont have what i’ve said.

Re: Just testing new trees

These plants are beautiful Ande…
but …
What program you used to generate the structure of plants … or perhaps you have “simply” put your hand to something that was already in the warehouse?
I’m desperately looking for a program capable of generating a lightweight structures composed mainly of foliage created by 2dmap
see there … http://asgvis.com/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=90&topic=5214.0 … For me the best sw in the plaza … simple but capable of simulating many green shapes … Unfortunately, each “leaf” is a component in its own right, not a particular component and operates a single type of “leaf” for the plant … currently
Xfrog … no, can not achieve fronds made by two-dimensional billboards … at least not in a simple and, above all, the foliage does not have parameters that can shape the foliage in a natural way …
excuse my english

Re: Just testing new trees

Your trees look great, wish your blog had an english translation for us lazy Brits ;D
