Hi all,

Thought I would share a recent project we did for the Kid K’NEX & Tiny Pop campaign. We created a series of fun, animated product videos which are shown on the Tiny Pop TV channel as well as online over the next 6 weeks. It was great fun animating these little guys and figuring out how to bring them to life for the video. Created and animated in 3ds Max, rendered using V-Ray and compiled in After Effects.

what have you use for the rigging?

It was actually quite simple since the pieces remain relatively rigid. We positioned the pivot points at the joints of each piece and used rotation and a combination of bend and flex modifiers when required.
