Just finishing up this quickie. It’s a house in a historic “industrial” part of town. I know the it looks lonely, I will eventually be doing all the other houses clustered on this block with an overall streetscape view. LWF, vray sun/sky etc. Nice work posted here lately, keep up the good work everyone!

i listened to a lecture by a man smarter than me last summer. he stated that the windows of a building are the eyes to its soul. the design of your building is intriguing, but it lacks the entourage that makes it feel inviting. these don’t necessarily have to be over the top items, but just a few well placed things that make it feel like someone occupies that space. …basically, so the space does not feel vacant.

this could be a few blinds, barely visible through the panes of glass. a bicycle leaning against the porch. a porch light on, or a hanging fern.

i must say, it has been awhile since i have seen a house with a pitched roof, and siding that is appealing.

ya, i missed the part in your initial post where you said you were waiting for the landscape plan.

i think the shadow in the lower left corner needs some work, i don’t think it is convincing enough. maybe let a 3d tree cast the shadow for you. right now the perspective feels off.

a old arch vis trick is to darken/burn the foreground to push the eye back into the illustration.

i dre-work ur camera angles…there s too much ground and not enough sky… :wink:

Hi powerandrubber nice renders mayby you can put some dof in it to make it more real. Nice trees can you tell men from what lybraries are? or where you bougth them?

Thanks. The trees are onyx. I cropped off the bottom of the second view and extended the sky. These are on their way to the client so no more changes.
