I hardly dare ask, but how long until SP3? Its been quite a while since we saw the new features at Siggraph back in August. Just wondered where we are at?
It is going through final testing right now.
Best regards,
Vlado
Sounding good. Is there a new features list to look at anywhere?
<can you tell I’m excited???>
I’m preparing a short page with examples of the new stuff.
Best regards,
Vlado
Exciting !!!
whoa!
Nice @!!!
cant wait! great news! ![]()
It’s going to blow you away ![]()
So much will be visible, and so much won’t, but it’s SOME service pack, in good Chaos style.
I have got a flyer from a german Reseller with Info on SP3.
Is it still a secret or can i post it here?
Got the newsletter too and the new features are really cool, as usual an awesome update from chaosgroup ![]()
Definately mouth watering;)
looking forward to the LWF features…
Looks like that page has been taken down. If you just type vray service pack 3 features in google, the first link shows all the info.
Page is still up, but it’s not nearly complete =]
tease, oooooh tease…
even more exciting new stuff?? oh lordy..
At the risk of asking a potentially stupid question. Will the SP3 upgrade be a free upgrade? I ask since other software packages I own offer free upgrades up until the next full version. I’m assuming that SP (service pack) is indicative of a patch with additional features and not technically a new flavor of v-ray.
Sorry for the question but I was not able to find anything in the forum (could be under my nose and I won’t find it though)
Luis
it’s in the air, just like love.
As long as v2.x isn’t out, apparently Chaos is happy to let us have fun with “bug fixes”
THEIR way of bugfixing, that is…
Looks like a super update!!!
VRayZDepth work with transparency,..does that mean you could finally get zdepth from
“plane trees” instead of a square? If thats so, its great!!
I knew Christmas would be coming late last year, but its going to be worth the wait.
Will the help files be update close the the time of the SP release, looks like I will have some reading to do;)
