learn vray

hi everyone, this is my first post.
i would like to introduce myself, my name is markus (nicname max), i am an architect an interrested in archvizualisation.
as vray is quite new for me i have a lot of questions. i will start with the most important one, HOW CAN I LEARN VRAY?

i bought yet the 2 gnomon-dvd`s for gi by chris nichols which are very helpful. also i read the vray documentation.

if someone has further infos, please let me know.

thanks

Sounds like a good start. Now just use Vray whenever possible. Practice.

Yeah, youve pretty much got it sorted.
Those dvds are excellent, and with spot3d documentation as a quick reference all thats left is to use it as much as possible.

Every time you see a flaw in your render, make note of it, do some tests, and learn what you need to make sure it doesnt happen again - this way, eventually you’ll just run out of flaws

Hi,

can you say Vrayelite.com?

Bri

Hey there welcome.

Also search the heck out of this forum.

Also check the evermotion website (I’m too tired to remember the link - google it.)

thank´s for your replies,
i checked the web for further infos and found the vismaster online training.
has someone made experiences with this, especially in europe?
also found books for architectural viz. with max+vray on www.3dats.com.

Marcus, there are tons of testimonials for the vray course here http://3dats.com/testimonials.asp

thanks for the link intero_ua,
all of the testimonials about the vismaster online training there are enthusiastic,
seems to be worth the money

very interresting, hard to wait until september.
noticed it in my calender.

I know this is an old thread but I just wondered if anyone had had experience with the vismasters vray training, and would they recommend it ? I am very tempted to splash out on that..

hey

i would wait for francesco book, i saw many videos and training tutorials and his book really took it to the next level. I didnt just learn vray now i understand it. <---- big difference.

Isn’t that book already out? I’ve been considering buying it…

Thanks pskdude

see in my sign

I already have the book, but I would like to learn a process that I can apply to creating photorealistic arch vis renders. At the moment there is a lot of guesswork and the book doesnt really help me to work out a good process.
