lens effect mask

Hello,

no mather what i tried on 3.07, when i want to enable the lens effect with ID mask, it doesn’t work (mtl ou obj ID), it only works on full image.

any known issue here ?

Application of ID mask in vfb Lens Effects is a known issue and our developers are already working on it.

Has this been fixed yet? no mater what I do the lens effect wont work with the ID mask, it applies the effect to the entire image.

Our developers still working on this issue, so it is not fixed in the latest version.

any news for this fix? Doesn’t seem as material ID mask is working in the latest update (3.20.03) in 3ds Max 2014.

No news unfortunately. It’s still on the to do list - it got pushed back because of other high priority tasks.
Anyway, the more you ask for it the sooner it will happen.

It seems as buying the update of Vray to 3.0 was a waste of money for us. Now we’re stuck with version 2.5 and 3ds Max 2015 due to this issue =(

This has been broken for over a year now…how is it on the “to do list”? It’s not a “user request” It’s a broken feature that TWO service packs have not addressed.
