I’m just got a new Windows 7 machine and have loaded 3DS and Vray2.0 but could not obtain a license (-200). I have two dongles, both are fine per http://localhost:30304/getstatus. I know this must be something simple but can’t figure it out. A copy of Vray on an older XP 64 bit machine is working fine.

Is your vrlserver blocked by the windows 7 firewall?
Windows firewall is off.
My IT guys just told me there is another firewall active that is part of the domain and could be causing the problem. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
I got this one when I installed the new vray 2.2. The VRLserver service wasn’t started automatically after install so it didn’t see the license. My guess is that is the problem here.

The issue was resolved. It was a third party firewall.
