All of a sudden, whenever I start max and load vray as the main renderer - It says that all Licences are engaged, Can anyone help out on this?
It’s worked fine with no problems before, why should it start doing this now?
Thanks!

Did you recently install anything on the machine ? (for example some antivirus solutions are known to cause problems with vray licensing)

Well I installed NOD32 and a bunch of stardock software (object dock and the like.) Oh and I got a new mouse - Logitech intellimouse I think its called; that also required software.
Do you think that could be the cause? - I have disabled NOD32 and the poblem still persists.
Should I try running in safe mode perhaps?
Thanks for the help!
NOD32 caused problems here too…dont know if it is fixed since then and what versions are affected…but when i ran into that problem disabling it did NOT help…only de-installing…try de-installing NOD and i am pretty sure it will work ![]()
Sad tho as i really DIG Nod32 too

Dang, and you are sure there isn’t a way to fix this without uninstalling NOD32?
Are there any setting that could be tweaked?
As far as i know it aint possible…if anyone knows plz do share !

There was an older version of VRay that had this problem - which version are you using?
Also can you please send an email to vray@chaosgroup.com with your Site Login data so we can send you a FULL access to our forum.
let me just re-itterate here that nod32 does have a problm with vray. i tried a few thins in nod32 to exclude the vray directory in program files folder and also to exclude the 3dsmax folder. but it didnt work
