Light intensity in real world units

I saw this quote by jujubee:

a drop down such as the one that ships with Max IES or ‘other’ software packages to help simplify what is essentially ‘guessing’? This process is overly-complicated…

i.e.:
25 watt flourescent tube
75 watt cool white light bulb
450 watt high-pressured sodium lamp
etc…

and I think that this would be a good feature to add to Vray lights. Even better would be the ability to input the wattage of the light as the intensity of the light. Eg. you want a 65 watt bulb in your scene. You create a Vray light, you type 65 watts into an intensity input box in the Vray light rollout and consequently you get a 65 watt output bulb in your scene. Then in a selection menu below this there could be the type of light like flourescent, incandescent, etc.

I second that. More advanced vraylight is needed in general.

I triple that. Something similar to Maxwell ease of setting the light source would be great to have in V-ray.
