Light Tearing - Worse with better graphics cards?

In the Enscape Standalone exe (not tested in the in application modes) I am experiencing a “tearing” of the lights when using a GTX 1080 compared to the AMD Fire Pro w7000 where the quality is reduced but the lights have a more normal diffusion. The general image quality and resolution is much better on the GTX 1080 just the lights are acting weird. See attachments…

It is worth nothing the problem did not existing until many lights we added, and it only affects lights placed close together. Any thoughts?

N.B.The machines have different processors/ motherboards ect but I am guessing the graphics card is the relevant hardware

N.N.B. generated from Rhino

Just tried running enscape straight from rhino on the GTX 1080 and there were no light “tearing” so i has something to do with the .exe + 1080 combo?

@tomN There should be no difference between standalone and rhino. Was standalone created using the same Enscape version as you now run in Rhino?

Yh I created it this morning?
