Greetings,
- Is Light View following the position of the Rhino sun on a specific location?
- I notice that changing the month and time in Date and Time settings doesn’t affect Enscape.
Is there a specific month which Enscape takes into account when positioning the sun?
- I notice that Daylight saving on/off has an impact on Enscape, but what is this parameter actually?
Thank you!
Hi @FloatingVolume and thanks a lot for your inquiry!
To answer your questions:
-
Enscape (including within our Light View) should automatically follow the sun settings you’ve configured in Rhino (Please let me know if I misunderstand this part)
-
They should affect the renderings/preview output actually*
-
Daylight saving in Rhino should simply mean that it adjusts the time offset by one hour to match real-world daylight saving time shifts in certain regions. When enabled, it should change the position of the sun by effectively moving the clock forward or vice-versa backward an hour.
*Given that this should have an effect on the rendering, could you please also forward this inquiry via a dedicated support report so that we’ll also receive your log files, which version of Enscape you’re using and in order to generally connect you with one of our Rhino specialists directly? It’d be much appreciated.
