Lighting Information

Hello everyone,

I’ve seen in couple of videos on yt and Instagram where enscape users during Walkthroughs can turn lights on and off.

How to do that? I can’t find any tutorial or anything anywhere.

Yesterday also in webinar, i asked joseph but he also didn’t answer the question.

Please help, i want to learn it.

Really? you got a link to one of those videos, I’d also like this feature.

It’s unfortunately not a feature as far as I’m aware. It’s creative editing. Render the scene with lights on then one light off then another light off and so on. In editing stack all the clips and edit the lights so they are turning on one by one or turning off one by one.

…it’s like Ted.Vitale said - the trick is done in a video editor later on. My very simple old example, linked below, consists of 4 videos actually, all made with the same camera movement and duration. Only the light on / light off situation was differed in all of them. Only a corresponding or desired video fading creates the impression than.

…if we had batch animation rendering this approach would be quite workable. Enscape renders quick enough that multiple passes are totally doable within a production timeline. Right now the bottleneck is the time required to start each animation with consistency.

@solo75287 @tedvitale.cg SOMETHING LIKE THIS WHAT FINN HAS DONE IN HIS VIDEO.
