Lights do not behave as Components in the new lights manager window?

I have many lights that are instances, copies of the same component light.

If I use the “Enscape Objects” window, I can edit one and they all change simultaneously… which is a great feature.

However, in the new light management window, if I edit one, the others don’t change?

There are so many, should I edit them all manually? I don’t understand. Any suggestions?

In Archicad I use groups for emitters so that you select several at the same time. You dont have groups with the new light management, only presets that are quite different. So best way is changing them on your authoring tool.

I also would like to suggest the use of groups inside light management. Recognizing groups from the authoring tool is important, just like creating new groups on the light management working both ways…

On the other hand, presets are great but those are conditions of light for the whole scene. Like in a building, WE all would like to turn on a set or group of lights and leave it on and then turn on another group of lights. This is simulating how WE use lights in buildings. Testing lights is about this, creating ambients on the fly and then, only once you have decided a specific set of lights on/off, you save the preset. Please add this…
