LinearLight - how doe's it work?

Hi,

today I got a scene from a client and I had overseen, that LinearLights was be placed in the scene - big surprise, the lights are rendered, but the light options show me Rhino parameters only. How doe’s this lights work, what can be expected without detailed control?

The recommendation is to replace linear lights with very thin rectangular lights.

OK, I tested it - two rectangular lights placed perpendicular in the middle of each other doe’s it quite good too (double side enable).
