it is very handy to set up light in Camera view using Interactive mode
but Sun need to be moved in Top view so Interactive model switches from Camera to Top
would be great to have an option to link Interactive mode view to Camera of Perspective view only so no matter which view is using during Interactive rendering
You can do this by locking your camera viewport by checking the lock icon in the render setup window.
That feature is in 3ds max for ages. Look for it in render setup>common tab, lock icon next to view to render.
