In general what’s the best settings to get something like this? (Milk or paint drop effect)
I keep fiddling with the surface tension and viscosity settings but so far haven’t been very happy. I’m trying to keep the liquid together without tearing apart and get those nice sheets in my splash.

If you want longer tendrils and no droplets you will have to use only the surface tension (you can increase this even beyond 1 
) if you need the surface to break up into droplets you can increase the droplet breakup option. Take a look at the examples here - Chaos Docs

Thanks guys…is surface tension beyond 1 physically plausible? Or is that just for artistic sake? I guess those examples were still a little confusing, I found the chocolate mix tutorial to be pretty useful also.
Yup, it’s okay to use surface tension above 1 - there isn’t a maximum surface tension in nature, so we can’t really pick a maximum value for it and make the options work in 0-1…
