I can change the output image size in the Render Setup, but when I want to preview the image dimensions (aspect ratio) before actually rendering, how should I adjust it? Hi, please note that the viewport resolution is influenced by both the UI layout and the active view, and is ultimately constrained by your system’s display resolution. As such, it can only be adjusted through the following means:
- Resolution & Display control widget – Changing the render size will scale the viewport resolution accordingly.
- Hardware Upscaling – Disabling this option (while more resource-intensive) removes any scaling applied to the viewport resolution.
- Camera aspect ratio – Modifying a camera’s aspect ratio from its properties panel will directly affect the viewport resolution.
- Main window or panel resizing – Resizing the application window or UI panels will also impact the viewport resolution, with more improvements coming along with Envision v1.5.
