LOOKING FOR .VISMAT metal mesh.

I am looking for a welded metal mesh .vismat file for my rhino project. something similar to these facades.

any suggestions would be appreciated. i found good 3dsmax files but still no vray.

Instead of spending hours to find a reasy-made material, why not make your own? Model a small patch of the mesh you like, render z-buffer and alpha maps and use them as displacement/bump and transparency maps. Could even be faster than the endless search for good ready-made vismats :slight_smile:

i made a pretty decent-looking metal mesh by taking a metal material and messing with the “grid” mapping option on the reflection and transparency layers
