Hi!

As usually, I work on a WS Dell RTX quadro 5000 mobile.

But, when I’m abroad, I work on my MacBook M1 Pro 16/16 + Vectorworks 2023 (Sketchup 2022)

Now the question:

how to run Enscape on my Mac without having access on my Dell.

Can I switch my SEAT license on Mac and return back ob Dell automatically?

Hi there and thanks for your inquiry. :slight_smile:

It’s best to simply remove the license from your Dell machine before re-activating Enscape on your Mac as detailed in our knowledgebase article here:

Afterward you can simply copy-paste your license via the license dialogue and then click Apply License as usual:

Same license will work for Windows and Mac. If you have a fixed seat license be sure to remove the license from one computer before activating on the other computer.

Keep in mind Enscape only supports SketchUp on OSX.

Another option?

After traveling with a MacBook Pro that would boot into Windows I finally broke down (2018) after Apple moved away from NVIDIA and bought a Windows laptop. Fortunately. Victorinox makes a beautiful, carry-on, wheeled briefcase with two laptop sleeves. For short trips, there’s enough room for two laptops and a few days of clothes you don’t have to check a bag :-).

My question was about the case of I’ve forgot to remove the license key; so I have just only machine (Mac or PC)…

Vectorworks, when you run it on a machine, check if there is another another machine with the same license number.

So we can run freely w/o any worries about the license.

Ok.

I strongly hope In the future it will be more easier.

At this time, if you forget or can’t remove your license key it’ll have to be reset by Support to be able to apply the key to another computer. There’s no way for the customer to disable the fixed license key remotely on a computer.
