Mac Standalone from the Windows Enscape

Hi -

At our office, we run all windows machines. We need to export a standalone file to an external company. That external company only use Mac’s. Is there a way to export a standalone file for Mac from the Windows version of Enscape?

Thank you

Hi @Vincent_2

The only way right now is to use web standalone.

That’s unfortunate, but understood. Could we add this as a future feature request? Thank you

Executable standalone created directly on your machine will unfortunately not work on other machines due to macOS app signature validation. On Windows you get a popup about exe being not signed and can at least click it away and agree to run. On mac it must be signed - there is no easy workaround. To sign you either need a developer certificate from Apple (costs $), or we have to provide an online service where you can upload your standalone and get it signed with our key, which is not only inconvenient, but also risky for us to sign every package we receive.

Alternative to this approach is a viewer app which can be installed from app store and can load standalone projects. This option is what will probably happen one day, but I cannot give any timeline.
