As of 01. October 2007 the two leading specialists in 3d-Visualistation and computer generated imaging(CGI) Mackevision, Stuttgart and the Munich-based Gallery of Media are merging to form the new MACKEVISION Medien Design GmbH.
There has been a close relationship between MACKEVISION and Galerie der Medien since years. In Fact the two Visualisation-Specialists are already building upon the same unified workflow. Many projects have been produced in close cooperation in the past. For example the World Premier Product Spot of the Mercedes Benz CL-Class 2006 and 2007 that has been awarded the golden OttoCar, intermedia-Globe-GOLD and the Golden Artist Award amongst others.
Also the latest MACKEVISION-Production, a Product Spot for the world-premier of the new Dodge-Model “Journey” has been realised in close cooperation.With the merge of the two companies a new logo and CI has been created and a new website will be available soon offering showcased work and more information regarding the merge and the new company. With the new “lab”-area of the website there will be a completely new portal that will showcase and offer downloads for some of the internally developed plugins and tools.
