Today, I had my second disappointing experinece with Cosmos causing something else that I actually use not work properly. I don’t see a reason to be forced to install a service that I don’t use and Vantage doens’t need to function properly.
My request is to give me an option in the installer whether or not to install it.

We are sorry to hear about your problems with Cosmos. As a temporary workaround you can stop the Cosmos Service or even uninstall it, if this is what you prefer.
We will consider making changes to the installer, however, at this point we would prefer to focus on solving the original cause behind this problematic behavior.
Your assistance in that process will be appreciated, cause having the necessary details will allow us to reproduce the issue.
