Hi there
I’m having an issue with the material preview in c4d R25 and the latest version of Vray. The materials just don’t preview in the materials manager. This is recent as I haven’t had this issue before. I have tried to reinstall both vray and c4d - unsucesfully.
Any to help ;( ?

What happens if you try to render your scene? Can you do that? From your screenshot, it looks like this might be a licensing issue. Could you go to http://localhost:30304/ and make sure that you are logged in with your account and you have an active V-Ray for Cinema4D license? You can find more information about licensing here. Let me know if that helps.
Rendering is as usual really.. It’s just the material preview. Also double checked my license and it seems to be active on the link you sent!
Any other ideas…? Really difficult to render anything without the material previews!

Can you try rerendering the materials from the Material dropdown> Render All Materials? Also, please let us know if that happens with any scene/material or just specific ones. Thank you.
Can you also check if the Material previews are enabled in your preferences? Go to Edit> Preferences> Renderer> V-Ray> Materials tab> Previews. Additionally, if they are enabled but the issue persists, can you try to rename your preferences directory temporarily, to see if there is a problem with your preferences? You can find your preferences folder by clicking on the Preferences Folder button in the Preferences window. Let me know if any of those suggestions help.
Renaming the preferences folder and reconnecting with my account seems to have done the trick! Thank you so much!
Actually… material preview showed up and then same issue again now! I’m really confused … Any other ideas?
