materials not showing

hi guys.. anyone who can help me..

problem is that i cannot see the wood planks (materials i downloaded from the site, )when i place a material on the model all i see is gray when rendering. am i missing something?

Ive also had a problem with this. Sry for being noob, but any help would be awesome!

Right now the only material information that will be viewable in the view port is the material color (hence the reason you see gray). Right now the recommended workflow is to use a v-Ray linked material with all of the map info in the su material that its linked to. Not only will this allow you to see the texture in the viewport, but also allow for manipulation of it via the su texturing tools.

i have downloaded the material in the site .vismat file…you know the concrete the masonry stuff. its ok that i dont see these in the sketchup file . but i actually dont see it when i render it.it just turns gray.is there anything else to import? the other files like the carbon and the grass works just fine.but the rest i cant make it appear in my render.maybe theres someting i missed. is there? ;D

A linked material grabs diffuse color, diffuse texture, and diffuse transparency information from the Sketchup material

i’m also need help. When i render there have a few block did’t come out but in sketchup we can it…
any one can help me to soft this problem?

If you send me the file with some instructions on how to reproduce the problem I can hopefully track the problem down and fix it for our upcoming service release. If the file isn’t too big you can just email it to me. Otherwise just drop it in ftp://ftp.asgvis.com/incoming and send me an email telling me what the name of the file is. Thanks for your help
